Tag Genie App Privacy Policy

Tag Genie “the App” provides tag management and analytics “the Service” to merchants who use Shopify to power their stores. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.

When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account:

  • Shop domain name
  • Product information (GraphQL API - ProductConnection)
  • Owner information available to Shopify apps
    • Email

How Do We Use Your Personal Information?

The only personal information that we collect is the email address of the person / tech team responsible for using the app.

The email is being used to provide important information about the app like reporting, subscriptions, and communication regarding tech support.

The App might access customer data from Shopify stores only if the fuctionality to work with customer data is explicitly enabled by the person using the Tag Genie app.
